Backstage Week

From February 02 to 08, 2024, come and discover the jobs in our village resort! 

 

Highlights:

-> First Track: Take part in the opening of the ski area with Les Sybelles pisteurs!

Poster Snowvolley tournament

Sports and leisure events not to be missed!

Snowvolley tournament

As part of Outdoor Week, a Snowvolley tournament will be held on February 13, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm, on the Saint Jean d'Arves snow front. A perfect event for those who love volleyball and snow.
Share this convivial and sporting moment by registering at the Saint Jean d'Arves Tourist Office from Saturday February 8, 2025. 
You need to be at least 12 years old and 3-4 people per team. 
 

White gourmet rally

To continue the outdoor sports week, a White gourmet rally will take place on Monday February 24, 2025 in Saint Jean d'Arves, starting at 4pm. 
The rally is open to all, with a non-timed route. It combines discovery of the hamlets of Saint Jean d'Arves with tasting of Savoyard products.

It's a 3km course, 150m d+ punctuated by numerous refreshment points: 
- Les Matafans with Noël 
- Savoy cheese from the Vallée des Arves Cooperative 
- Grandma's cakes from Le Pain de Pistes bakery
- Organic infusions from Infusions des Arves 
- Honey from Miellerie des Arves 
- Sausage from Sherpa de Saint Jean d'Arves 
- Mulled wine and hot chocolate served by the Saint Jean d'Arves Tourist Office 

Torchlight descents in February

All-weather show & torchlit descent


On February 12, 20 and 26, 2025, come and watch the show and torchlit descent with ESF instructors from Saint Jean d'Arves lighting up the Praz de Charvin slope. 
During the evening: 
Discover the presentation of the stars, ski and snowboard demos, a synchronized descent... 
The evening continues with a torchlit descent by French Ski School instructors! 
After the descent, the instructors will share a glass of mulled wine with you!

Valentine's Day - The ascent of lovers

Declare your love at Saint Jean d'Arves - Les Sybelles!

For Valentine's Day, the Saint Jean d'Arves Tourist Office is cooking up a romantic surprise! 
Join us on February 14 at 5pm for a romantic moment on the Charvin Express chairlift. An aperitif featuring local produce will be served to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Registration at the Saint Jean d'Arves Tourist Office, price 8€ per couple.

Ski pass required.
